I love words. I love reading them, I love writing them, I love talking about them... But most of all, I love God's Words.

This blog is an attempt of mine to combine my love of writing with my love for God; writing down my experiences and thoughts. As simple as that.

So what else do you need to know about me?

Well, my name is Ami. I'm 21 and a second-year Languages and Literature student. I live in South Africa. I grew up in a Christian home, but only really gave my life to the Lord when I was 16. Since then I've grown and learn and last year I was baptized. Since I started attending university, I have found a solid, Bible-believing church, friends who want to serve God with me and a great group of people to do Bible study with.

My dream is to work at a publishing house, working with manuscripts, and to hopefully have something of my own published one day. I'm praying that God will be able to use my writing for His Glory and to reach people for Him.

So far, I've contributed to a great new student magazine called Scope Magazine. Their first digital edition with the theme of "Freedom" was released recently. My article (on p31) was about the #FeesMustFall issue, and whether free education will bring true freedom to students. I'm excited about being part of this project as it expands.

So that's all for now. On this blog, I will be sharing blog entries as well as some poetry and short stories eventually.
